Bowler needs help
« on: July 13, 2009, 04:48:52 PM »
Im working with a friend coaching him that is. I asked him what he wanted to work on and one of the things he mentioned was to clear him thumb without having pain, upon closer observation, I looked at his thumb and he has a large callouses on the outside of his thumb, and they're so large that he's having to much pain to even bowl. He has since redrilled his equipment and he is clearing the thunb good now.Is there a way for him to remove or get all that dead skin off or does he just have to wait until nature takes its course? Any and all help appreciated .

Also, have him stop "knuckling" his thumb.  --  JohnP

sounds crazy but try this stuff, it works great for softening up those callouses and for a hundred other things bug bites, eczema, dry patches, anything that itches, but i put it on right after bowling and most time dont even get them any more.
