[qutoe]I don't understand why you would expect an online pro shop to do anything more than put holes in the ball. Beveling the holes is different for everyone...if they bevel it without ever talking to you they might do too much...then you have a ball you can't hold on to.
Drive to a pro shop and have somoene you can talk to drill it. There is no way that someone over a website who can't see you bowl can remotely know what reaction you want and how to properly lay it out for you. [/quote]
You don't understand. BP has a street shop in our area. These folks walked in, bought bowling balls, were measured, balls drilled and that's what they got. This was not done online. They were new bowlers, so maybe you can fault the customer for not knowing that the thumbhole shouldn't cut like a razor when you throw the ball. Or that you don't have to put those white grippy things in the ball every time you throw it. Maybe they are suppoed to come out?
