I bowled with 15 and 14 both for about 2 years and finally went all the way down to 14 when I injured my wrist. I would not sugest going from 14 to 15 unless you are ona heavy long oil pattern and need to slow yourself and swing down. I found I could use 14 AFTER using 15 in marathons and long tournaments to keep the ball speed up on deteriating oil conditions.

i bowl with 14 and 15 also. i dont think it does anything bad i actually like it. when i need to rev the ball a little faster for certain shots i can switch to the 14.

by the way i also thought it might be bad to switch from 14 and 15 during games lol

I think when I get the money I'm going to buy a Columbia Blue Dot since those are supposed to be the hardest spare ball on the market.

The hardest plastic ball is now the Arrow from Lanemasters.  The old Blue Dots were harder than the White Dots, TZs, or Maxims but that's not the case anymore.

Not that it matters.  Plastic is plastic.  Get the one that looks the coolest.
