dry lanes ball
« on: February 27, 2005, 09:07:37 AM »
I just got an X factor vertigo a while ago, and I'm pretty much recreating my arsenal, because I moved up in weight. My vertigo is surprisingly versitile. I can play any part of the lane on anything more than dry(I can still score 50 pins over average on light oil with it!). It's drilled with the pin above the ring finger and RAD just right of my thumb. I'm looking for a ball that I can use on dry lanes with length and an arcing backend. I would probably like to use a similar layout to my vertigo. Some balls I had in mind are the p.ure hammer and columbia300 super trooper

I throw about 15.5 mph with a medium rev rate, and I usually like to play throwing over 12 with a medium/small swing on over 15 with a medium swing.

Any ideas?

I saw the barbed wire and it looks really good, but do you know where I can find one. Preferably with pin + top weight requests.

Thanks! I think I'll go with the barbed wire, because it seems like I will be more comfortable with the reaction.
