How Many Revs Does This Equal?
« on: December 12, 2011, 01:36:47 PM »
Tape was put on ball between the fingers and I could count 14 revolutions which I know is not much, but what does this equal in RPM's?
Speed was just below 16 mph, about 15.8 range.
Thanks

14 revolutions per what? Check the FAQ section, that might help.

When doing it this way, you need to count the revolutions while the ball is in the oil and the time it takes the ball to get to the friction.
The ball will rev up considerably when it hits friction and it will skew your reading,

Using a spare ball that doesn't read the lane may be your best bet too..
