Oil Pattern Question
« on: December 11, 2008, 01:20:49 AM »
Ok so this thought has been on my mind lately:

What would happen if you use the forward application of oil from a house shot, then a reverse application of oil from a Sport or PBA pattern of the same distance?

I have toyed around with KOSI a few times but never tried this idea out. Just one of those random "What if" questions lol. An example of this is you have a 39 foot house shot, you input the forward load data. Then insert the reverse load data from the PBA Chameleon pattern. Would you just get a tad bit easier Chameleon? Or would you get something totally different from the two?

Thank you in advance!

If you're doing this with a house pattern that requires both a forward and reverse application to "complete" it, what I would *guess* would happen is you'd end up with some kind of morphed, blended thing that played a little like a broken-down house shot, maybe with some areas that felt like they had carrydown. Especially with Chameleon, which is a "strips" pattern, you'd have a wide range of potential end results. Could be easy, could be tough.
