Bowling ball?

Last night I notice a bowler was striking so much that I had to ask him what ball he was using. He told me nuke, he said this ball was out in the 1980's. Can anyone help me out. What ball Company made this ball?

Thanks for the info. I would  like to try this oldie myself. I know there is none now.
