The "Game Changer" is the best bowling book out there IMO.

The Game Changer, by Mark Baker, is the best I've ever seen.  This book will NOT give you any "tips and tricks" to bowl better.  What it should do for the bowler is help him build his game from the ground up using a sensible and systematic approach.

When your fundamentals are good your game will elevate, and when you do struggle (as all humans do), you can get back to form more quickly in my opinion.

I ordered this, it is a download and they claim that there is a money back guarantee the problem is there is no way to get in touch with them to get your money back. Personally I did not think it was worth the price and it was somewhat of false advertisement because there is no way to contact them for a refund.

Bakers book is a must too if you decide to have a coaching session with him, or attend his camps.

"The system" DVD is excellent, I have both of these.

Nothing fancy, just straight forward teaching made for all ages and styles that make sense. Other coaching methods seem to catere to certain styles....
