The Bowling center our league bowls at all of the sudden announced it will be closing. It's owned by JOMA out of Witchita, KS and we are located in St. Joe, Missouri. The have sold the building and we have a week to figure out what to do with our league. There are two other centers in town, one has already announced they have made room for us. The other center in town is now throwing a fit wanting all the leagues to choose where they want to go.
I have a couple questions concerning our situation. Is there a USBC rule regarding this issue lol? If we move to a new center do they have to honor the price we've been paying each week? If too many teams decide they don't want to bowl at a different center and want to quit what happens to the prize fund? I am confused on the whole deal and it sucks they've been planning on closing for a while and told no one, all the employees were in the dark too. The head mechanic has been there for 30 years and been the only job he's held.
