« on: September 09, 2008, 02:11:56 PM »
Hi all,  on the front of my thumb (fingerprint side) my skins seems to be burning or something its a dark area of skin , I am wondering if this is a problem due to pitch.

I used to have a part of my thumb like that.  Since it doesn't hurt(I assume), it shouldn't be a problem.  Mine just went away by itself and I'd forgotten about it until I read your post.  I could be fit related but I don't see it as a problem unless your fit doesn't feel right as well.

This happened to a friend of mine.  What was happening was as the ball was coming off he felt it was coming off to early so he squeezed it with his thumb at the very last second.

Try concisely keeping your thumb from squeezing, if you feel the thumb is coming off to early, talk to your driller, you will probably need to add less reverse to your thumb.
