Detroit/Metro Area BR Summer Get-together : UPDATE

OK....

Looking at 8/12 - 13 .....

Please respond if you're in ....I'd like to reserve some lanes.....
Venue will be posted soon......probably Merri-Bowl ....King of the Mill's place.....

More to come....but PLEASE respond so I can get some good numbers....

Well.....that does it......not only because 7 people gave a firm confirmation but because I went waterskiing this weekend and took a spill and have aggrevated my back again!!!!

Sorry folks..........no way I'm going to try to bowl this weekend...........

I may try for another weekend before the season........OR...maybe just after it starts......stay tuned.....and sorry about this......

Too bad.  Just got into Detroit area today and since I read where this is not happening, I didnt bring my bowling balls with me.  Wont be able to make the fall event.

Just got back in from spending the day visiting old friends so I missed seeing this earlier when I was only four miles north of MerriBowl.  I have some other plans earlier for Saturday but I will try to drop by after 3 pm since I will be leaving for Columbus OH on Sunday.  Would like to meet KOTM since I will be needing a driller when I retire back to this area.

I dropped by Merri Bowl and met KOTM.  Unfortunately for me (good for him) I picked the busiest day of the summer to visit him.  A real nice guy, KOTM took some time from his busy schedule to chat with me, which I appreciated.  For some reason, I thought he was older than he actually is so he is more like a Prince than a King.    But he still treats his customers like royalty.  


Too bad I did not get the chance to meet the famous (or infamous) Jeffrevs.  
Well, there's always two years from now.
