How many balls...?

How many balls do you generally purchase throughout a season?
I've gotten 2 so far this year, and bought 2 last year. What about everyone else?

In 2004 I've bought the following balls:

February- Eraser Pearl Particle
July- Hot Wire
August- Animal
October- Target Zone
December- Rule, Barrage

The first three I got used through members of this site, the other three were NIB.

Last year 2, this year none. Have considered the XXX Xtreme but haven't busted out for it yet. May not and wait untill next years crop.

It varies over the years due to the amount of use difference between each ball I own, what interesting offerings come up each year and if there are any major changes in my set-up.  This year is going to be the most I've gotten up-front due to changing weights.  However, a good chunk of my soon to be drilled equipment is either from trades I did for some NIB 16's I had or various pieces of equipment that were owed to me from past deals.  Hard having 8 balls waiting for you to drill!

But on average I've drilled probably 6 new balls per year over the years.  Some years have been pretty high...but I guess that's one of the perk's of working in a shop.

Well let's see, I've been back in bowling since Thanksgiving, 2003...so that's right at 13 1/2 months and I've bought (or won) the following balls...

Monster Bruiser
Hammer Big Blue (won in drawing)
Track Crash
Target Zone
Morich Labrynth
Morich Ravage
Track Animal
Track Animal Untamed

I've sold the Big Blue and the Ravage, the Bruiser and the Laby sit at home, and the three Track balls and the Target Zone get all the playing time.

I've thought a lot about buying a Track Xception over the last month but haven't pulled the trigger...

I don't obtain bowling balls in the normal manner.  For personal use I have 4 new this year.

I'm fairly conservative and do not like to punch a lot of balls even though they are available to me.  The year before I punched 2.
