Feldman in 9th place?
« on: October 28, 2004, 07:21:10 AM »
Is this a good thing for the PBA? I wonder what kind of press it will get if she makes TV or wins. Certainly not like the Anika thing in golf but I bet it will get noticed.

Anybody else surprised she is doing that well against the big boys?

She who, she's a man baby I swear she's a man.  Nah but seriously she throws it better than a lot of men I am not surprised to see her do well.

Here's the top 30 after squad B bowled first and A second.  With D and C to bowl later today.  I included PDW.  The cream rises to the top.

As far as Michelle is concerned great bowler will make it to the 63 +WRW.  Now match play in double elimination that's another story.  Don't get in the losers bracket.

Good to see Tom Daugherty and Randy Weiss representing the southern region.  Both are very acomplished bowlers.  Tom is a no thumber too.

I was there Thursday morning for the first two squads.
Barnes started in front of the ball return on the right
lane... couldn't see what he was rollin'...
Mika mainly used an Ultimate Inferno but struggled in games
4&5... game 4 was something like 150ish and 5 didn't start
 any better, solid 10, 2-5-7 for 9 out, runaway 5 pin ...
Michael Fagan sporting a mohawk with bleached out ends...
Watched Haugen Jr for his whole block... simply amazing...
right down 1st arrow with an Ultimate Inferno... game five
had slow start, switched to a Nemesis and pulled a 260ish
game out... Feldman can hang with the big boys...
Dorin-Ballard sure can keep the ball in the pocket...

Nothing wrong with females making the cut, making tv, or winning in the PBA. A couple have made it to the title match of regionals. Bowlers are bowlers period. I wish her and all the others as much success as I do anyone else. Bowling is about execution and I respect that and not the gender doing it.
