If you change the 1970 - 1979 to 1980 - 1989 in the url, there is another whole list there.

Same for 1990 to 1999 & 2000 to 2009

Definitely not the most detailed or exhaustive resource, but it's still fun to see mentions of some of the older balls. I am in my my 30's, so I grew up during the urethane heyday of Nitros, Hammers, Cobras, and then I saw things transition with the X-Caliber, Turbo X, etc. Still, I think the ball I look back on most fondly from that list is the Gold Pearl Quake. I made a ton of money with that ball as a teen bowling adult leagues. It probably wouldn't do much of anything on today's conditions, but it would be fun to throw one just for old time's sake!

Funny that you mention this ball......the Gold Pearl Quake! I have a guy in my Monday night league, that has bowled with this ball for at least the last twenty years and has not bought a new piece, and he continues to strike like nobody's business!! The ball is so dingy now it's more of a copperish color rather than the gold it's supposed to be. I don't know if he's ever cleaned it, but I know it works!
Some days you're the bug....some days you're the windshield...that's bowling!

Ah, the Quake Pearl was always more of a copper than the yellowish gold of the IQ Tour Pearl or balls like that. Again, if I had one today, it would probably only be relevant on drier conditions, but it was awesome in its day!

Shot my first 300 with the Gold Pearl Quake.  First game, THS, and just couldn't miss.
