Bowling Gloves and Supports
« on: April 25, 2008, 10:23:06 AM »
I have been bowling for about 2 years....I currently use Robbys revs 3 but have been looking at the ebonite striker and the mongoose equalizer or the mongoose lifer..not sure about any of these...not really had the chance to talk to anyone who has used any of these....my ball speed is about 12-14 and low revs...if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it....

I've used the Mongoose Lifter,Equalizer, both very good braces. I've used Robby Revs 3 I didn't care much for it,matter of fact it is now sitting collecting dust. And I've been currently using the Bull dog by Turbo 2 in 1 grips. The Bull dog I liked the most. As for the Striker, never used or seen one before. My wife uses the old school brace from wristmasters I believe it's called. To me it's hit or miss with them. Tried the one from Storm, that to me felt to uncomfortable as did the RR's.

PS just for the record, I'm now back to just a glove Talon from Elite and have actually been bowling much more consistent since doing so. I injured my wrist, but since past 2 months at the gym I've devoted some time working on my forearm, wrist, and grip strengthening along with the regular training.

Good luck.
