Bowling Goals

I have been bowling in leagues and a few tournaments over the past 7 years.  I have bowled some low 800 series, three 300 games, and have made just about every split you can think of except the 7-10 split.  I would love to make the 7-10 split once which would mean more to me than another 300 game.

Just curious if anyone else has a bowling goal that has eluded them.

My goal which has eluded for years is that every time I put the ball on the lane all the pin magiclly fall down...

My goals are:

1)  Bowl a 700 series

2)  Reach a 180 average

3)  Find a good pro shop to match me up properly to equipment and drilling layout so that I can accomplish items 1 and 2 above.

I'd like a 300 someday and another 800 would be nice!  

I just thought of something else!  I want to raise my average to 230 next year on Friday nights.  I'm up to 227, so 230 would be cool.  I've never booked a number like that before!

For me being a first year bowler, I'd love to have a 600 series. I know that's nothing to alot of you, but for a beginner it's my goal. 547 is as close as I've come so far. Only two weeks left to do it in this year, then leagues over.

Since I first started bowling my goal has been to get a plague for all the honor scores.  All I need is that elusive 299 and I'll be happy.

Not counting the 900 award, the only way that could happen is if I'm the only person in a 36 lane house when an earthquake hits.

Goals are very good, mine include...

800
winning a tournament (kinda accomplished, put together and bowled on the victorious team for City this year)
winning a regional
etc....

have done...

300
converted 7-10 split (and saw it too! most people don't see it)
30 clean
60 clean
averaged over 215 (if i don't melt down this Thursday...currently at 216...)

I've reached most of my goals, including a 300 game and 800 series.  Also achieved two big goals of mine during high school, winning the state championship twice, once for singles my junior year and our team took the title our senior year.  Mighty proud of that.

Converted all splits except the 7-10, which i dont leave very often

Goals:

1. Win both Leagues I am in.

2. Average over 200

3. 800 Series

4. 30 clean frames in a series.

5. 300 game

Actually, a 300 game is much more exciting to both score and watch a fellow bowler accomplish, but it is below others on MY list!

In this my first year of bowling I set my goals to raise my average from 159 to 200. Well I made it to a 190 avearge. Shot my first 300 in practice in my 11 month of bowling. Have had a couple of 695's. Now the goals for my second year in bowling is to hit various 800 series, be more consistent with 700 series and raise my average from 190 to 220 plus.

Good luck to all of you that are in pursuit of your new goals in the coming year. One frame at a time. Strrrrrriiiiiikee!!!!!

2. shoot 800 (it's been over 2 years)
3. Make Jr. Team USA in July
