Try and pick the 7 and 10 only every frame, 2 x 10 = 20 get it?

I never heard of Bowling Golf, but it sounds like what we call Low Ball.  If you gutter on the first ball it counts like a strike in regular bowling and if you gutter or don't hit any pins on the 2nd ball it is scored like a spare in regular bowling.  A strike or spare only counts as 10, no bonus ball.

We had a fun tournament Veteran's Day for the kids and we had one of the games Low Ball/Golf.  What was the funniest thing is one of our kids is special needs and did not understand the concept.  He just kept bowling like normal.

Aside from one kid who wanted to shoot 300 (he guttered almost every shot intentionally) the rest of the group tried to kick out the 7 or 10.  We didn't penalize them unless they guttered, so no pins on the 2nd shot did not hurt them.  Any how, the one kid who didn't understand the concept won.

The fun part was doing all the score corrections

Oh to answer the original question, I have never seen anyone score a perfect 20.

Low Ball sounds like a fun game, but the not hitting any pins thing is crap. If you knock out 2 on the first ball, you should be able to miss all the pins if you keep the ball on the lane

We call it low game around here, I shot a 24 in High School team practice last year and have shot under 30 numerous times but never a perfect 20.
