Castaways may re-open, but possibly without a bowling center.

Bowlers Journal this month said that people are interested in purchasing the property, but running it without the bowling center.
That denotes a true end of an era.
I won my first Collegiate Singles All Events there - many years ago. :-)
That was the first place I'd ever seen synthetic lanes. They'd opened with I think 60 lanes all wood, then added 46 synthetic lanes a couple years later.

Yeah, watch the lineage go up all over vegas. It's not that bad now, but it will go up because of this. Simple "supply" and demand.
