Confusing Article
« on: August 12, 2010, 01:18:37 AM »
In today's email from Bowlingball.com there is an article on how to choose the right ball for lane conditions. Quotes from the article:
For heavy oil on the front end, choose a solid coverstock with a high RG and Differential ratings to increase gripping action.
Two paragraphs down is this:
Low RG rated balls will roll sooner and strongest on the front end of the lane matching well with heavy oil, medium RG in the mid-lane for medium oil conditions, and high RG will roll effectively on the back end of the lane for the dry lanes.
Which is it?
Is high RG for heavy oil or dry lanes?
