I've been a member on there for years. I was just on it yesterday. I believe I was the last one to create a post which was the passing of Mo Pinel. I know Lane #1 was big sponsor to the BBE and when Lane #1 quit, it seems like most lost interest in the BBE site.
Used to frequent them quite often. Hadn’t logged in for a while. mcdvoiceBowling just isn’t what it used to be.Neither is the interest in bowling forums.Ultimately, I guess, Facebook took over.
Facebook is also what took lots of the interest away from here too.

Facebook has killed (or at least damaged) many if not most of the topical websites out there. My car club website still has a bit of traffic, but it's fractional compared to what it was 15 years ago. Now there are a dozen Facebook groups I have to monitor in order to get the same content. And if 3-4 people get hacked off at the group admin, it's easy just to start another Facebook page. New websites, not so much.
