Any guesses/estimates/sites concerning the cost of putting in 1 lane of bowling in a residence?

There was a post about that a while ago. I think someone said upwards of like 10-20 grand. I COULD be horribly mistaken, but I know it was alot.

I'm guessing $5000/lane only because of what I found on the Brunswick website. Enter the number of lanes and it will give you a price below beside "Total Contract".

Check e-bay!! I have seen a pair of lanes for sale on there a few times. You never know, you might get lucky and get them for something you can afford. Lanes are alot of work though. Probably easier and cheaper just to go bowling!

Will do....you are probably right though, if it cost 20k......be much cheaper to just go bowling.but yet, the ability to walk downstairs and bowl whenver I want or friends/family........"priceless"

Well, 15 grand will get 2 lanes in the house with scoreboard and everything you really need. You will also need to purchase a lane oiler(unless it comes with one). And youll also need to purchase oil.
Conclusion:
Buy a used pair.

I believe CHANNEL is right! I'm not sure but I do remember speaking with a center manager and he I believe he said like 30k for a pair, I suspect it includes everything CHANNEL mentioned. Must be nice to have your own..

15K -- for new synthetics and new machine. one lane 30K for pair. No oiler
A good oiler is 10K on its own.
I will have one lane in my dream house!

Also try this site:
www.joystick.ca
There will be a box that says "We saw it at bowlingtrader.com", click on that, and will take you there.
Or
www.bowlingtrader.com
should take you there.
Good luck.

Don't for get you have to know how to keep the machines running, keep balls coming back, how to condition the lanes, I could go on and on and on...
