BJI -- but then again, I'm a bit (a bit) biased...lol.

I like my name in print, what can I say?

I prefer BJI although I subscribe to both.  The quality of the articles in BTM has declined over the years and I have no idea who these guys are writing the articles.

When I first subscribed to BTM, Mo Pinel, Palmer Falgren and other quality individuals wrote for the magazine.  I still like Rolf and Susie and the rare reappearance of a Bill Hall article.

I subscribe to both but Read BTM cover to cover most of the time. BJI has to much filler for me but has some good articles as well.

BTM, everything seems more in depth and yet, at the same time, accessible to me...

For a game based on the principles of science and math, bowling sure does have a bad habit of being illogical.

BTM

It has more technical articles and I prefer their ball reviews.

There's a short blurb about every author on every article. I have no idea who Palmer Falgren is/was.  Does that make his advice worthless?

BTM is targeted more towards the advanced bowler while BJI is more for the masses in general. They both have good stuff in them.

Palmer Falgren was a former Team USA coach.  By not know, I mean credentials.  I'm not impressed by someone has a particular certification but rather their experience and knowledge.

Now that Bill Spigner is writing for BJI, I'd be hard pressed to find anyone in BTM (other than the occassional Bill Hall appearance) that matches his credentials.

Oh yes and BJI has Tom Kouros who many of today's coaches base their theories.

But what do I know?
