got screwed?
« on: October 14, 2008, 09:11:21 AM »
Ok, so here is what happened. I Averaged 243 for 105 games last season and I had high avg. in the county. Well 3 weeks ago I missed a night of league and they announced high avg to this guy with 237 and my teammate told me about the next day. the next week I go to the league president and she said that oh you got high lefty avg for the county. They have a high lefty and righty avg? Anyways its been 3 weeks and I havent seen an award yet! I think they just forgot.....I rather not even get the award...high avg is high avg too me but then again im a lefty lol...anyways what do you guys think? What I think is messed up is that this guy took this award and hasnt even said anything about it. I dont think there is even award they pretty much said hes lefty it doesnt count.

How would your county know if you are right handed or left handed?  Any sanction car I've ever seen has never asked if you are right or left handed.  It sounds like the secretary pulled something.  When awards come from our association they are in an envelope or box with the bowlers name on it.  I would think since it is a county award, it is not some thing the secretary ordered, but rather the county based it off of their records from all leagues in the county.
