Just watched some MythBusters last night. Got me thinking. Are there any bowling Myths out there?

That the score is based on pts. and not total # of pins knocked down.Example300 game equals 300 pts.
120 pins knocked down and 180 bonus points.I still remember Earl Anthony on
Tv broadcasts telling people this.I tried to tell people this but,when he said it,then people took notice.

Heard a strange one today don't know if it is myth or fact.  One of the Dallas area centers is mixing caster oil with their lane oils to make the lane oil last longer.  That sound strange to me.  I hope it is caster oil and not castrol.  The center manager instructed the mechanics to add a cup of it with the lane oil normally used because the normal oil was not lasting long enough.
