Just watched some MythBusters last night. Got me thinking. Are there any bowling Myths out there?

Several bowlers in my league carry higher averages than Walter Ray Williams or Norm Duke. Therefore they are better than WRW or Duke.

myth: Righties have it easier than lefties when the lanes are flooded because the lanes open up.  Nevermind the fact that  Righties have to battle carry down.

If I buy the same ball Tommy Jones used Sunday and it doesn't react like his, it's the driller's fault.  --  JohnP

I average 220 at home and I am a 200 average bowler.

::::Really????

Oh yeah I just throw it up the second arrow and never have a problem.

Or

I hate synthetics or the opposite wood lanes you have to play them so much differently (130 bowler).

::::Really?  You use the same basic techniques to find the shot on both.  What's the problem.  Glass, grass, sand, astroturf, wood or synthetics if you are a bowler it shouldn't bother you and you can find a shot.

Alright....Now is there anything out there (Bowling Related) that we could send to MythBusters.

I recall the CG doesn't matter topic. Anything else?

Something like......

A guy throws a ball so hard at a single pin and breaks the pin in half?
