The purpose of this thread is 2 list all the bowling myths....



List your bowling myths...



 



1st myth -- You aren't guaranteed to shot a 300 with new ball your purchase reguardless of how much you paid or even like the ball...  The more you pay for a ball doesnt increase your odds...



 



2nd - There is no such thing as a ten pin house reguardless -- You hit 10 you get 10

You need to have good "lift" on the ball to:
- get it to hook
- to carry
- etc.

The speed posted on the monitor is my real speed I throw the ball.

 

He averages 240 he has to be a good coach.

1- leaving a shaker 7 or 10 on a light hit is getting " robbed " 

 

2- how low average guys always think anything that hits the head pin " should strike "

You can tell how good a bowler is by:
 
1. The number of balls they bring to the lanes.
2. Who has the latest, greatest ball in their bag.
3. How big of a hook they can throw.
