I only bowl one league a week.  It's super short oil shot, which is bad for me.  No sweat, it's a mixed handicap league where most of the bowlers are wearing house shoes...not a competitive league at all.  I joined it to get away from the cry baby "scratch" bowlers.  Besides I get to drink a couple beers and still average 207 which is a good 10 pins higher than the second highest average.  

So last night I subbed in a league in a nearby center.  This league has 6 300's on the standing sheet and has some pretty decent bowlers in it.  I was asked to get in brackets, I get in four @ $5 a piece for grins.

I had a new 14 lb Anomaly drilled that afternoon and hadn't throw it once until then.  I shoot 231, 235, 258.  I win three of my brackets for a whopping $45 profit!   If I got into all 20 brackets I woulda made a few hundred and won the $100 eliminator.  

So, bowling on a wall was fun and profitable. Yay for me.
