In case you thought my boy Strider was a one hit wonder
« on: April 11, 2007, 05:11:49 AM »
After shooting 800 in the Tuesday night scratch league last week (without a 300) he comes back this week and shoots 278 19? 300.

Congrats to my friend for some amazing performances lately.

Also Creekside lanes only has two or three 300s a year not 10 a week like some centers.

Keep bowling great!

Damn, he's on a "roll!"  Great bowling!  (Psst, Geoff! Let me in on your secret this summer.)

Sheesh, now he definitely has to give up a lot of pins at the gathering.  Congrats  Strider.

Was he still using his wimpy Lane#1 equipment to get the job done?

Yes, another "OK" day with a Buzzsaw that was pretty close to being an anchor.

They tried throwing us for a loop by moving the league from the top end of the house to the bottom, but I managed to figure it out.  The second game kind of stunk, but you can't have it all.

I wonder if Jesse (JPRLane#1) knew those scores were still in the ball when he gave it to me.  Even though I gave him two balls for a friend, I think I got the better end of the deal.  The newer Buzzsaws are poured by Columbia and now they're in limbo, so I'm not sure if it's worth getting more interested in them.

A formerly dead Tsunami + a Hotpoint dishwasher + Magic Carpet + coaching from Ron = dangerous combination.

Wow!  I think it might be a good thing I ended up with a conflict with this summer's gathering.  I'll be able to avoid a severe butt-kicking from Strider.

Great bowling, Geoff - keep up the good work!
