Bowling Pins Left Standing After Tornado Demolishes Bowling Alley
The bowling alley was in the middle of the tornado’s path in Moore, Okla.
Pics included........Pretty astonishing the power of nature.

That is insane. I wonder how tough pin carry was on that lane

I must confess, I thought the same thing. Not sure if it is bad form, but it still is amazing how that rack is still there.
-
I thought leaving a stone 8 was bad! Here's an F-5 that couldn't carry the full rack!
Terrible for me to think that instead of the crazy force of tornadoes, but this really is astonishing.

Not even a Storm could knock them over.

No wonder Ebonite got rid of the Tornado line. Sheesh. :P

It looks like the safest place to be during a tornado is under the pinspotter laying on the pindeck.
-
Well, it picked up the 7 pin...

The most amazing thing is the pictures of the destruction of that center. It looks like a bunch of sticks and twigs when it is steel beams and wood

The bowling center was actually in better shape then a bunch of houses down there. I helped a family today dig through what was their house for random things. We were all amazed how the roof was gone, walls fallen in, and stuff everywhere. The one thing left in dining room in harmed and in scratched was their China hutch with everything in it as it stood Sunday morning. This storm did some amazing things, all be it all sad, it was pretty impressive. There are trees down there stripped of all bark. 2x4 sent through brick walls and curbs on the road. Cars so mangled you can't even tell make. I was actually went to Katrina relief in New Orleans and although this isn't as spread out, I must say it is as every not devastating. So much destruction in such a concentrated area.
