Should we be allowed???
« on: November 18, 2005, 08:35:43 PM »
To use both hands?  No, not twohanded delivery, but either hand if you choose to do so at any time.

I could see sandbagging at an all-time high, so a guy shoots 34 lefty and 234 righty.  Could be a problem....

Aside from that, other sports allow the use of either hand.  Switch hitting in baseball for example.  I am not 100% sure, but I don't see why you couldn't hit a golf ball with the opposite hand, of course you'd have to carry a lefty club for the most part, unless you are tiger.

Seems like an interesting thought.  I was rollin a few games with the wifey the other day, just because I threw the tenth lefty with my XXXL buzzsaw.  I punched out, surprised at myself, it got me thinking.

We all know it would never happen, but hey its something to chat about.  If it did happen, what rules would have to be in place?

Even in a scratch league there's room for "manipulation" UNLESS that league has no limits. But 99.99% of all scratch league act like handicap leagues in that they have team entering average limits.

I even thought about allowing a person to switch hands for certain spares, but that might change their average & handicap also, unless their average was computed with that ability.
