I believe it's around $5.50 to $6.00 a game around me and shoes are about $3.75.

In Manhattan some places charge $12.00 a game. No too many places left in NYC to bowl. It's sad because NYC has such a great bowling history and so many great bowlers came from that area.

During any prime time slot (not weekdays in the afternoon) most centers around here are at least $4/game, many are more.  And on Friday and Saturday nights its much more expensive.

Shoes are expensive to rent to be sure.  Much more then in the good ole days.

These days, even if you bowl casually its worth it to buy your own shoes.

So the better you bowl the more you pay.  Still not a bad deal.

Local house is $5.00/game and $4.75/shoes.

one of the houses in grand rapids charges $99 for a VIP card, which gets you unlimited bowling from may to labor day whenever there is open bowling, which is anytime they are open, as oddly enough they do not have any summer leagues, but they are still open 7 days a week in the summer.
