Best summer league ever
« on: May 17, 2007, 08:48:33 AM »
I just joined a summer league on Monday mornings.
It's a singles league and pays first three places weekly so no commitment.
The cost is $15 and includes bowling ,prize fund and 1st and 2nd game mystery.
League members are given three free games of bowling a day =21 free games a week.
Ya just can't beat that.

I can beat that. My summer league is a 4 person mixed league Sunday nights. Two different levels 16 or 18 dollars a week. Level 1 gets on of the Raw Hammer line balls whereas level 2 get a black widow(solid or pearl).
Both levels also get unlimited free open bowling and a half hour session on the CATS machine.
Maybe this doesn't beat yours as we have no prize fund but with 40-60 free games a week I definately make it worth my while.

Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can't... you're probably right.

Ahh, the days of not having a day job...

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

Proud member of the Track Legion, though I'm seeing other companies on the side.
