Linds- Easy Flip Bowling ball, Who really makes this ball?
« on: August 13, 2012, 09:29:03 AM »
I was wondering if anyone knew the real company that is making this bowling ball out in china, I'm expecting there is one of the major bowling companies putting it out there, just using linds as a front.

Maybe it's Storm!?!  http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/465755001/BL1_Bowling_Ball.html

Or Columbia? http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/273327842/professional_bowling_ball.html

Or even Ebonite:  http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/465756336/Bowling_Balls_Private_balls.html

Seriously, my guess would be Via - http://vianorthamerica.com/

I don't believe it is any of the US companies.  They don't have a problem outsourcing spare balls, but they have been pretty protective of their manufacturing "secrets" for making a cored bowling ball.

We already complain about the flood of balls being produced here (hello Ebonite), just imagine if/when the Chinese start producing a decent product.
