Anyone ever try this? What did you think?

I currently use tape. I wonder if this thing rolls up on you?

lol, ok, thanks.

To be serious. You lose feel in the thumbhole and that little bit of moisture for a good fit with anything that totally covers the thumb

One of the products they offer has a cutout for the underside of the thumb. So that product doesn't totally cover the thumb.

Interesting concept... I usually stick on the back/sides of thumb in warm/high humidity situations. That sock might help with that, if I could get used to the feel.
If you've got an old ball laying around, try it out. With something like this I think it's the only way you'll know.

i think bowling socks in general have a good idea, but this is just going to cause you to squeeze the hell out of it. Being so slippery, you might drop the ball a lot and cause you pull some shots if you squeeze with that death grip just to hold onto the ball. If you do get it, maybe putting some white tape directly on the tape might give some support.

I bought the sample pack to try them out. There was no issue of them rolling up. I was afraid they wouldn't stay on my thumb but that was not an issue either. I had to tighten up my thumbhole a lot though. They make the thumb exit very fast. If you have a lot of reverse or already have a hard time holding onto your ball, then you will probably drop the ball. I normally throw with 3/16 reverse in my thumb and the super slick version allowed me to get out of a ball that was 1/16 forward. There is no way I would get out with just my bare thumb.
So if you tend to stick, it could be a solution. Taking a good look at your spans, thumb pitches, and holes size is probably a good option as well.

I'm zero/zero in my thumb. I use Hada Patch and wrap in around the sides of my thumb. So tape usually cover more than 50% of my thumb.
Quite the bi-polar responses. Love and hate. They don't cost much, so maybe I will give them a shot.
