I agree, noname, but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt so I don't piss someone off for no reason. I suppose it makes me seem naive though. And when I said hilarious I meant because of the ridiculous nature of it, not it's ethics, which are terrible as it is clear that this was no accident. Hilarious was perhaps too strong a word. I should have said mildly amusing. I didn't even laugh when I thought it was possibly an accident. Hope this clears up my position.

Perhaps I should rephrase that.  I mean, if both of them were just trying to loft the ball out far, but ended up going WAY out further than what they planned (what I meant by accident), then that's amusing.  But if they both knew that the ball would go out to the pins, or up into the ceiling it's kind of dumb.  Obivously, it can't be a TRUE accident lofting the ball out that far, but in my twisted mind it somehow is more amusing if the results were much, uh, farther and higher, than expected.

Yeah, I laughed a lot.  I did almost the same thing during leagues one night.  My thumb stuck in the ball, and it didn't pop off until my hand was about head level.  The ball nearly took out the scoring monitor above me, flew about half way down the lane, landed with an incredible thud, bounced OVER my gutter and into the next lane's gutter!  People were one the floor laughing, and I was pretty red in the face, but still slightly amused.  Nothing got broken, except my pride, and the rest of my game.  I never recovered.  Shot 104!

EDIT: I only laughed because I remembered when I did it accidentally, not because I thought this was funny.

They clearly were trying to compete lofting the whole lane. You hear the second guy say here we go just before he throws it to the ceiling. If I was in charge of the center, I would give them the boot and tell them to take their business elsewhere! These are the kind of morons that tear sh!t up and dont care b/c they dont pay repair bills and probally dont bowl on a regular basis, so they don't care if the center gets ragged out. It goes without saying....I didnt find it funny at all.

I saw this happen at a college tournament last year.  The guy had the ball stick to his hand, it went straight up through the ceiling tile, back down into the gutter and smashed through that.  After that another guy when and grabbed a piece of tile and ask the kid to sign it.  One of the funniest things I have seen in my bowling life.

actually its not funny at all. ive had to deal with people like this, usually either drunk idiots or kids who are trying to impress someone. not fun to clean up. fun to watch them argue with the cop and get arrested and all. used to work at a center in atlanta when cosmic bowling first started. people act like complete idiots for some reson when the lights go down.

I don't see how anyone can watch this video and think that these goofballs did this by accident. Was it just a coincidence that it was being taped when these things just happened to occur? How about the sissy type laugh at the end of the video? I am a great grandfather, and I can tell you right now that I want to kick their respective butts, and I would do it in front of their girlfriends.
