I recently purchased off Ebay a Uprising with the #2 drilling which is pin above bridge and mb 3 inches from thumb. I have a Uprising that I love with a modified #1 drilling which moves everything to the right for me because of my high track.
The ball I just got has a shorter span, 3 7/8 cut to cut with a 1/16 pitch forward, my normal balls have a 4 1/8 cut to cut with a 3/16 rverse and 3/16 lateral to the right.
I thought I read somewhere for conditions that are overreacting having a shorter span and forward ptich helps smooth things out. I threw the ball tonight and everything seemed good feel wise, didn't have any problems getting the ball out of my hand. I wiull say it seemed to make my track lower, and had more flare than I thought I was going to get out of the ball with the pin that far away from my PAP which is in my profile. I also think theta may have changed a little on the slightly lower side, need to get it checked
I was wanting to see if this could be good for when my Uprising is becoming to much, to switch to this ball with diff span and pitch to get back on line with not as much boom on the back? Or do you think I should have the thumb plugged and redrilled to my normal setup.
