i know that this kind of sounds stupid, but can someone please explain what a stroker, a tweener, and a cranker are and tell me the difference please

Here's the quick and dirty

Stroker - low rev rate, fairly straight trajectory

Cranker - high rev rate, big hook

Tweener - right in between
