Consistency

What are some tricks you guys use to practice making consistent shots. I'm already pretty good, but I want to get a whole lot better before I start entering tournaments.  Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Find a good coach and really work on timing. Many styles can score, but the one thing they have in common is proper timing.Good timing leads to consistent results.Nothing else can save you if your timing is off!I always teach my students:Timing isn't anything,it's everything!

yeah I found that, too. Worked with one of the old guys on my new club and increased my score by approx 15pin just for the fact that my timing was of and I was falling of the shopt or missing my mark more than the 5 boards the THS allows

But I say you get one to watch you... that really is best.

For me that "little" timing tune up (it took me at least three month to get that changed and when I let my focus slipü the old habits come back) was the best thing.

Thanks guys, I have decent timing but I'm sure there's room for improvement.  I'm going to have the manager of our local alley, Big Mike Bixler, watch me...he's always ready to criticize, so lets see if it can be atleast semi-constructive
