Great job putting your foot down with elite and their pricing.
Their site has elite balls listed for "informational purposes only".
With this word of advice attached to each description.

The only question I have is why would Robert Smith hitch his wagon to them if the products didn't work? Then again, he can make almost anything hook.

I thought this was so good I wanted to see it for myself! I went to the site and couldn't find ELITE BALLS as a  category .. found ELITE SHOES .. can you give me a link to the COMMENT defined by you .. Thanks!

If I remember right, you can make a Blue Dot hook (albeit a little bit)

Why are these balls so freakin expensive? They cost more than Lane#1 stuff.

Why would Bowlingball.com sell the balls?  Isn't Elite Bowling and BowlersParadise.com owned by the same person?

They used to be exclusive to BP, but I've seen them on a couple of other sites.....of course BP is the cheapest!

Crazy thing is that I see a lot of these balls at league in some poor 175 bowler's hands.

Because:
They spend a TON of money marketing this ball

and

There's a sucker born every minute.

These balls are nothing more than Brunswick core and covers with SLIGHT varations in the covers and minor tweaking of the cores. No new covers or miracle balls here...
