bowlingball.com question
« on: September 24, 2014, 02:42:31 PM »
Just curious if they are good with getting specific specs that you request? Wanna finally bite the bullet and try a pyramid ball (new divergent path looks amazing for my style) but have a heard a few horror stories where guys didn't get what they requested and had to go through the muck to finally get what they wanted...thanks for any insight

I used to buy through them, but no more. You get to choose weight of course, but(for me anyway) getting the specs you request is a complete gamble.

It has been a couple of years since I ordered from them though, so maybe it's better now.

Thats what I have heard...you can request but they don't necessarily give you those specs...It's just a pain because they are the only site that sells pyramid

Yea, I think Pyramid is their own brand. Somewhat like Elite is to Bowlers Paradise.

I have ordered from them multiple times as recently as yesterday and have always gotten the specs that I have requested. One time I ordered and they didn't have the specs I wanted and called me and let me know what they had and if I still wanted it or not. Every online bowling site is going to have customers that weren't please one time or another. I always put in the special request section to please call me if my request cannot be fulfilled before sending out the ball. If you do that you should never have a problem.

Agree with bowlingman817, as long as you're clear and asked to be called if they can't be met, everything will go great. Also, yes Pyramid is their own brand but unlike Elite, everything is designed from scratch. I have a Dark Path and it's always the first ball out of my bag.
