Well I was bowling tonite and was trying to figure something out.
How far is it possible to swing the ball and still come up the back of it?
The reason I ask is because I got to the point if I came around the side it was overreacting until I moved in, even slightly more and it was under-reacting. Talking standing 30 throwing 17 out to 5. So I starting coming up the back of it and found I couldn't get it all the way out to 5 and had the ball jump through the nose a few too many times for my liking when it didn't make it out there. If I moved in and played tighter, it left weak 10s and didn't finish. I found the ball started moving 5-10' sooner up the back vs around the side. For a pearl, even if it is particle pearl (eraser particle pearl), it should still get longer than 30-35' before it starts moving on a 40' pattern.
Any advice on swinging the ball while still staying behind the ball? Or should I just wait for my shooter to get here and shine it a bit, and when this is happening switch balls?
Any help is, as usual, appreciated.
