The best surfaces for your equipment are whatever will give you the most consistent line through the heads and the most controlled breakpoint in the backend. the first 6 games are going to be like every other tournament...it will not make much of a difference which ball you use and what line you play. however, the next block that has the flat oil shot will be much harder, and then your surfaces will come into play for the reasons i gave before. i would suggest keeping most of the equipment the way they are now, because the most successful way to play a flat shot is going direct and controlled. sanded equipment is going to grip way too early and will come out of play once the track area breaks down. the polished stuff will give u much better consistency through the heads with a more controlled backend...at least that is what it does for me. either way, no matter what you bring, the first 6 should be cake, and the last 6 will be a challenge...if you dont make accurate shots, it doesnt matter what you bring.
