Where to put tap to see rotation?
« on: December 28, 2006, 09:35:31 PM »
Ive seen people suggest putting tape on the ball to see its rotation as it goes down the lane.  Where on the balls surface do you need to put the tape and what kind did you use?  Im assuming white thumb hole tape, maybe a couple pieces?  Im looking for something to help me see more clearly when the ball is sliding and when its revving up, or has rolled out.  I need to adjust the surface of a couple of balls to match up better to a house shot and they are both dull so not as easy to see on them.

Thanks

JD

You need to put the tape on your PAP

There are two places...

1. What cranker89 suggested...on the PAP

2. Make a line of tape from you PAP to a spot just above your ring finger

They will both get you the same basic results.
