Span
« on: April 01, 2004, 08:50:13 AM »
I now live in Virginia and just recently I got back into bowling. I used to live in Connecticut as a youth. I just got home and I measured the span on my bowling ball from when I was 13 and it is 4 5/8". My new ball has a span of 4 5/16". What is wrong with this picture?

As we get older our hands loose flexibility. This can explain such a shortening as well as Rag's comments.
