Post your high series/ losing all the points experiences...
« on: December 14, 2004, 01:53:24 PM »
I thought it was bad enough a few weeks ago to shoot 740 and only take one point on my Monday night 5 man handicap league, but this week I happened to shoot even better at 760 (223-248-289) only to see our team lose by well over 200 pins in total pinfall and lose all 5 points for the night. I guess handicap is the great equalizer when a 185 average bowler throw a 757 series against you....

I'm sure there are even more stories that other BR posters can tell, I'd love to hear them.

Matt

Two months ago I subbed for a friend's team; shot 192,228,227 - 647 and only took 2 out of 7 points. Probably the best shooting I've done in months but the female sub we had shot 453 with a 168 average. Maybe she wasn't motivated enough...

754 in a matchplay league (257, 249, 248) and losing all match points to a guy shooting his best series ever.

The best/worst I had was in my scratch league over the summer.  It's a 4 game format.  I shot 977 and lost all my points.  My opponent had 2-280's and finished the night at 1000something.  The closest I came was in the last game.  He beat me 279-278.
