BR2006 - Update
« on: December 25, 2005, 04:58:03 AM »
Here's the latest. Thought I would try and consolidate everything down and find it in one place.  If I've missed your name, let me know.  I'll try and keep this updated as the year goes along.

Ball Reviews / Bowl 4 Fun.com gathering July 21-23

Here is a Yahoo map of where Creekside Lanes is located.
http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?addr=1450+trademart+blvd&csz=winston+salem%2Cnc&country=us&new=1&name=&qty=

Creekside Lanes
1450 Trademart Blvd.
Winston Salem, NC 27127

My email address if you need more info:
rclifton@triad.rr.com

The hotel I suggest is Extended Stay America. It is clean and cheap!
Use the Winston Salem / Hanes Mall location.
You can find it on www.extendedstayamerica.com for a map. It just one exit from the bowling center.

Bump.

Bottled my IPA today.  May brew a porter in the next few weeks depending on my work schedule.

Well, it looks like everything has been worked out.  SrK, you can put me back on the list, looks like I'll be making the trip down.

Still looking at a 50/50 chance of getting to come. Trying to work out some scheduling.

Someone at work said they thought it was in a dry county.  They pulling my leg?  Are there places nearby to get beer and the finest of cheap wines?

Total Wine and More (less than a 10 minute drive from the center) has a very nice selection of wine, beer, and cigars.  You can buy singles, 6-packs, or cases of beer.

Only a $10 bar bill???

Must be cheap drinks in Michigan.

I'll cover that much.  Be worth it to get a great fitter/driller there.

SrKegler,

He wants $10 per participant.  With 30 some people that means $300 + bar bill and he didn't say how long it took him to accumulate it.  Could be only a weeks tab

Intimidated!  Calls every week with new higher scores.

However...I'm bringing my XXXL that JPR Lane/(Robert Smith bowling as a lefty) introduced me to last year.

May handle severe oil shortage seen at Creekside or as I called it upon leaving ...Creekdry Lanes!

Here come da flood!

REgards,

PS NOt sure of Little(size 10 shoes) visit times this year.  BUt I know he'll be disappointed not to do some BigWillystyle bowling if he misses by a day or two!

I don't suppose that KOTM will fall for the old "I must have left my wallet in my other bowling bag" excuse when his bar tab is announced?

Of course, I'd rather pay for drinks at Creekside as opposed to the Silver Fox.    Maybe Harley can even talk Pchee into showing up.
