Brand new video of Del Ballard

Hall of Famer Del Ballard was one of the best in his prime.  After battling cancer, he's back and looking great.  Here's some video I just found on here from a few days ago with him taking a run at a 300.

Nice video!!!   when did Del have cancer??  i know i seen him on the show a few weeks ago and my first thought was WTF!!! he doesnt look good.. but atleast now i know why...

He had tonsil cancer and was being treated for it back around 2009-2010.  That may have been why in 2010-2011 that he really wasn't doing too many interviews as the Ebonite ball rep on tv (or if he was, being super short with everyone) since it seems to have messed his voice up making it a little raspy.  But at least as of late, he has been healthy.

All I can say after watching that is........rats! Had no idea that he had cancer. From about 87-92, he was as good as anybody ever was.
