Bringing Balls Back
« on: June 07, 2004, 05:26:29 AM »
Well i have laying here a Rock On, olddddd Tritan Heat, Recovery and i think a messenger laying around. Im thinking about getting my Rock On & Recovery re-drilled and throwing them this summer, They are by no means Dead, my rock on is a used a lot but once i resurface it will be like new. Should i do this or not waste my time? My Recovery was one of my fav. balls and the only thing wrong with it is that the thumb is too small. Well thanks for feedback.

I have a demolition I retired after throwing 2 300's with. I was also debating on trying it again this summer.

I figured, i wanted to give my rock on and dull it up a try on my sunday night league, i use a reloaded right not scuffed and it works nice and i think i will get similar reaction with the rock on, i figure its worth a try.

Bowlers Alley Nick -- There's nothing better than an old ball that you trust.  I would definitely get the thumb hole sanded out to fit on the Recovery.  No sense in completely redrilling it if the hole size is the only problem.  Might as well redo the other balls too, it's a pretty cheap way to have something to play with.  --  JohnP
