First, I am not a Brunswick basher or hater....

However, does it not seem as though Big B has released uninspired and uninteresting releases in the past few months? And Big B is not alone...Ebonite is not thrilling me either.

Overall how many new concepts can they make...a ball can only do SO much on the way down a 60 foot lane.

Many of the balls of today are nothing more than remakes and mixes of old ones.

Does a pill need to perform some kind of fourth of July fireworks finale?  There's some great pills that Big B has introduced, or, like Russell, stated, re-introduced.  The Fury line, Blast and Ultra Zones, and the Avalanche series are all solid offerings and have left few folks unhappy with their purchases.

I see things from both sides here. I agree that the balls are doing well, the Twisted Fury is showcased on TV with Parker and Rash. Mika tends to use older equipment, excpet he did bring out the Avalanche Solid last time on TV.

But my gripe is service related, the Avalanches were supposed to be released last October/November originally and it took till March/April to get them out. The factory in Mexico has been behind in making balls and it has caused a lot of headaches. Brunswick either needs to rethink this business strategy or make the necessary corrections to the plant in order to meet demands. If they don't, no matter how good the balls are, they will lose customers.

I have thrown some of my friends B and Ebo stuff and I am not thrilled. I loved some older stuff by both of them. At least off my hand B and Ebo equipment does not carry and does not give me a decisive move on the backend. I have completely moved away from those companies. I am with golfnut. I am not thrilled with what is being put out there.
