Well first of all its a yaba tournament and its schedule follows like this.
AVERAGES: bowlers will use highst curent yaba sactioned lleague average as of May 10,2003 ( no summer averages allowed)
Price :$100 walk in entry fee, and will only be accepted if they have a spot left in the tourney
LOCATION: BRC EDISON BOWL 1695 OAK TREE ROAD EDISON, N.J 08820
Format:
Qualifying Round: Bowlers will bowl 18 games in qualify round, broken into 3 SIX game blocks. The first block will be held at 9am on saturday august30th and the 2nd block will following after a lunch break that same day. the last block will be held on the sunday august 31st at 9am the field will then be cut down to the top 16 bowlers.
SEMI FINAL ROUND: the top 16 bowlers will bowl 16 games broken in to 2 EIGHT game blocks the first block will be help shortly after the final qualifing block is done. then u come back on monday august 1st at 9:30am to bowl the final block. (this is head to head compitition. all bowlers will bowl the other 15 semi finalist. each bowler will recieve a 30 pin bonus for a win, 15 pin bonus for a tie, and nothing for a loss.
After 16 games of match play the top 5 bowlers will then move into the step ladder finals.
FINAL ROUND: Finals will consist of 4 head to head matches to determine the winner.
